Chickpeas, also known as garbanzo beans are a rich source of vitamins, minerals, protein and fiber, that offer a variety of health benefits. In this recipe, I used chickpeas and tuna but you can alternatively leave the tuna out according to your preference or dietary needs. This recipe makes an easy and healthy salad recipe
Chickpea Tuna Salad with Avocado Ingredients & Recipe :
Mixed greens such as kale, spinach and other green lettuce
1 lemon for the dressing
1 cucumber, sliced
Olive oil for the dressing
salt ( to taste )
1 or 2 Avocado's ( depending on preference )
White albacore tuna canned ( optional for vegan )
Garbanzo beans/chickpeas 1 standard size can or amount
Mix all of the ingredients into a medium to large sized bowl and add your dressing and salt and pepper ( to taste )
