Zipair is Japan's newest LCC airline that is a subsidiary of Japan Airlines and owned by Japan Airlines. Zipair is presently based in Tokyo at Narita International Airport and was established as Zipair Tokyo in 2018. Zipair's aircraft, Boeing 787-800, consist of 272 economy class seats and 18 business class seats.
The aircraft, Boeing 787-800 which has improved efficiency of around 20% as compared to other models , therefore, making them eco-friendly.
Zipair Tokyo uses the aircraft, Boeing 787-800, flying direct flights to Los Angeles International Airport, Narita International Airport in Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, Honolulu, and soon they will also fly directly to San Jose in California.
When it comes to the aircraft that Zipair uses, I especially love how smooth the Boeing 787-800 flight is and not to mention it provides excellent comfort with higher cabin humidity and cabin pressure that is closer to ground levels.
For Zipair, I purchased a roundtrip ticket from Narita to LAX via their website at a very good price that I must say is highly affordable. Since it is an LCC, I did purchase extra add on services which I personally chose the premium package for an extra $100, relatively. When it comes to the inflight meal, amenity kit, and checked-baggage, all of these can be purchased as a bundle through another fare category: Simple (nothing extra) , Value, Biz, or Premium and If you just need or want the in flight meal and want the extra baggage weight, then you can also pay according to what your want to add on. Ultimately, if you would like to customise your add on services/ amenities to what you want or need, there is a customise option too to better fit your needs. I chose Premium, which includes a seat assignment, checked bag, carry-on bag, in-flight meal, and an amenities bag which included a fleece blanket, eye mask, ear plugs, neck pillow, and slippers.
If you did not already purchase the in flight meal or package online via their website, that is okay because you do have the option of purchasing food, snacks, drinks, amenities, and such on the flight. The food they offer is very delicious from my personal opinion and I thoroughly enjoyed all of it.
When considering this airline, please take into consideration that there is no in flight entertainment so if you are looking for that you can download movies, videos, from Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, Disney Plus, or the platform of your choice which is just as nice as well.
However, there is free wifi on board and there are charging ports as well to each seat. If you want to do online shopping for any add on or amenity you want or need, they do have it available in Japanese and English.

ZIPAIR offers a service called U6, which is created to allow passengers with children to enjoy a more comfortable experience onboard. This service has the following benefits:

I travelled with a 2 year old and I was given a discounted fare for his ticket and seating and I was given three seats for us.

Zipair's business class full flat seating also looks especially comfortable and highly affordable as well, so I think I will consider getting that in the future.
